Sweatshirt: 3 Ways to Work It

Now that we’ve introduced you to fall’s biggest trends, it’s time to show you how versatile they can be!  This week we’ll begin our “3 ways to work it” series, highlighting our favorite fall pieces.  With sporty being the favorite of designers and brands across the board as of late, we chose the sweatshirt for today’s key piece.  Options are a plenty and it’s soft, cozy and comfy.  We like all of the neutrals, with greys, black, white and cream looking clean and sophisticated. Choose a kitchy phrase or a vintage looking graphic – go with whatever speaks to you!
Sporty
When paired with leggings and slip-on sneakers, you’re all in for the sporty look.  To avoid looking like you came from the gym, throw on a military jacket, and plaid scarf to finish the look.

Daytime Chic
Try it with skinny jeans, a leather moto jacket and animal print flats for a casual, yet sophisticated daytime look.

Nighttime Edge
A sweatshirt dressed up??  Absolutely!  Pair with a flirty leather skirt, sexy heels and an edgy, fun outerwear piece. It makes for a great girls night out look.

Transition Time: Graphic Tee

With school back in session and fall merchandise arriving in stores, all we can think about are the leaves changing color, college football, Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks…and of course our cozy fall sweaters and boots.  But the temperatures are still in the high 80s!  Does anyone else find it hard to dress during this transition time?!

For the next few weeks we’ll be posting Wear Now//Wear Later outfit ideas to inspire you during this in-between time and to help you take your wardrobe into fall.  Today is the graphic tee. – it’s a super easy piece to wear and goes with almost anything!
