Spring ’15 Trend: Floral Prints

Welcome MARCH and welcome SPRING!  When 40 degrees and sunshine feels like heaven, we can’t help but think about SPRING and breaking out all of our spring trends!!

We’re starting our series on Spring Trends ’15…kicking it off with FLORAL PRINTS.  They’re romantic, feminine, come in soft colors, and are big in scale.  They are a welcome change from the neutral and masculine silhouettes and prints we saw for fall and winter!  They come in just about any shape and style: tops, dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, rompers, jumpsuits, and of course you can always go for an accessory if you’re not big on wearing prints!  We love them because they can be dressed up with heels and statement jewelry, or down with jeans, sandals, and a military or denim jacket.  Find a print you love and be prepared to wear it all season long!

Fall Trend: Leather

Leather has proven to be a major trend when it comes to Fall fashion, and this Fall is no exception!  We have seen it for the past few years, and are so glad it’s sticking around – and this season we are seeing it mixed with knit fabric across all categories, which makes it so wearable!  What we love about leather is the versatility of it (and you know we love our wardrobe to be versatile!).  You can buy luxurious real leather or try it in “vegan”.  You can go for a classic black moto jacket (so big this season!) or branch out and try a jacket in a color.  Go for a full on leather dress or find one that has leather details.  And, we are loving all of the leather skirts, pants and shorts out there this season!  So now is the time to find a leather piece to add to your closet.  Here are some of our favorites:

Pants:

You can find leather pants in a legging (or leggings with leather details), or the trendy slouchy fit that we’re seeing in other fabrics as well this season.  Such a fashionable alternative to a traditional black legging or pant!
